The Not-So-Perfect Storm?
In the meantime, LuckyDog was busy looking for a
dry spot. He didn't find one. |
Rarely during an offshore fishing trip,
we encounter a sudden storm that cannot be avoided. In
that event we are prepared to navigate through the
weather to get everyone safely back to the dock.
In addition to the standard equipment required by
the Coast Guard, we carry the latest in foul-weather
fashion. Here Captain Gary demonstrates the use of the
personal storm shield and drip-dry storm wear.

On this adventure we were
joined by Kevin Taylor and his boys: Matthew (showing
that the barracuda didn't get any fingers), Jamie (in
vest) and Trey. Trey's friend, Kevin is seen below
wearing the white shirt/red shorts. |

Safely and happily back on the dock, the
only-slightly dampened crew show off the fish caught
before the storm. |
(By the way, even though
he was not as comfortable as usual this trip, LuckyDog
was
his usual enthusiastic-dog self when it was time for
the next trip.)
